Sri Sri Academy, Asansol celebrated World Environment Day. The school's Principal Mousami Banerjee, Captain (IN) Alokesh Sen (R) (Director) and Sri Sri Academy's Chief Patron and Maithan Alloys' Chairman Subhash Agrawala planted trees on the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day. World Environment Day reminds us that the earth is our precious treasure. It is our collective responsibility to protect it. With the theme "Our Earth, Our Future", this year's World Environment Day gives us the message to focus on land restoration, desertification and drought tolerance. Sri Sri Academy, Asansol has always been at the forefront in protecting the environment. To create awareness among students about nature, tree plantation and awareness campaigns are conducted by the students from time to time. Environmental education is also given to the students in the class. On the occasion of the birthday of the student, a tree is planted by that student.
