Our pre primary classes recently had a delightful outing to a nearby garden and nursery, which turned out to be both educational and fun for the little ones.
The trip was designed to introduce the little ones to the world of plants, gardening, and the importance of nature in our lives.

Designing victory, shaping confidence! In this Best Out of Waste trophy-making activity, students crafted their own awards using recycled materials, reflecting their dreams and achievements. A creative way to celebrate effort, perseverance, and the power of self-belief, inspired by One Friday Morning!

The festival of lights, Diwali, brought an atmosphere filled with joy, warmth, and a spirit of celebration to our school. This special occasion symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, and we celebrated it with immense enthusiasm and grandeur.

Our students lit up the day with cultural performances, vibrant traditional attire, and creative art displays, spreading the festive cheer all around. The event was marked by dazzling decorations, illuminating the campus with beautiful diyas and rangoli, bringing together the community in a spectacular celebration of togetherness and harmony.

Deepavali Celebration

Storytelling has been an integral part of human culture since ancient times. It is a universal and traditional art form that has featured strongly in all cultures from time immemorial as an effective communication tool. It is often used as a medium to ingrain values, improve reading skills and open the minds of children to worlds beyond imagination.
A good storyteller captivates audiences with his/her power to entertain, inspire and provoke emotions. Behind every memorable storytelling lies a carefully crafted combination of essential elements of creativity, good poise, stage presence, voice modulation, enunciation and expression.
Story telling competition was conducted for PP3 to Grade 5, level wise. Finalists were shortlisted with a rigorous prefinal round.

Karnataka is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and breathtaking diversity. From the ancient temples of Hampi to the majestic Mysore Palace, the state's history is woven into its stunning architecture and traditions. The melodies of Carnatic music and the dynamic performances of Yakshagana showcase the artistic brilliance of this land.

Kannada is a language that has nearly 2000 years of history. It is our preliminary and paramount duty to spread the importance of this language as a citizen of this state. A variety of legendary artists, poets & writers have emerged from this beautiful land of Karnataka. Major pride of our state are the 8 ”Jnana Peetha” awards.

We celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava on 8th November with great pride and joy.The event was graced by our Committee members.We started the program with lighting of the lamp by our Committee members and Principal ma’am followed by state anthem followed by cultural programs.

Fireless Cooking Event at Sri Sri Academy, Asansol

At Sri Sri Academy, Asansol, we believe in nurturing creativity and practical skills in our students. On 25th July 2024, we organised an exciting Fireless Cooking Event that showcased the culinary talents of our young chefs. This innovative approach to cooking allowed students to explore healthy, delicious recipes without the use of fire, emphasising safety and creativity.

Our students enthusiastically participated, bringing a variety of ingredients and ideas to the table. Under the guidance of their teachers, they prepared an array of dishes that not only looked appealing but also tasted exquisite. From refreshing salads and sandwiches to delectable desserts, the event was a feast for the eyes and the palate.

This hands-on experience taught our students the importance of healthy eating, food presentation, and the joy of preparing meals. It was heartwarming to see the excitement and pride on their faces as they presented their culinary creations.

We are immensely proud of our students for their enthusiasm and creativity. The Fireless Cooking Event was a resounding success, and we look forward to many more such enriching activities that contribute to the holistic development of our students at Sri Sri Academy, Asansol.
